Service, Repair, Motor Program, Performance Upgrades - Working on vintage Porsches takes a lot of specialized skill and knowledge and Wolfsburg Motorwerks has a proud history of carefully servicing these cars for years. Many 356s have come through the shop for different phases of a restoration, some for comprehensive transaxle or motor rebuilding and some for professionally done maintenance.

Jack, the owner of Wolfsburg Motorwerks currently owns and drives among other things, a 1959 356A 1600 Super Sunroof Coupe with Carrera brakes, 741 gearbox and 2000cc 912 engine. Needless to say, the members of the Wolfsburg crew are enthusiasts. We are at home with these cars and will take special care of yours.

Motors - At Wolfsburg we have built everything from the early two-piece case motors to wild 2000cc twin ignition road burners. Jack personally has had over 25 years experience building Porsche motors and has gained a competence, particularly with the push-rod 356 motor, which is unusual to find. Over the years we have developed relationships with vendors and machinists that provide the highest quality service for what we cannot do in-house. This combined with a clean, organized work environment and meticulous detail in our work result in an excellent product. We tailor each motor to our clients’ specific wants and needs with awesome results.
